On November 10, Mark Stores lost his battle against brain cancer, leaving behind his wife Mandi, and daughters Julianna and Isabella. Mark was exposed to an agent around 20 years ago while in the military that caused him and others to be diagnosed with Adult Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He fought hard and had an amazing team and beat the leukemia. Over the years he had many side effects from the treatments he went through. Mark and Mandi and the girls moved to Texas where they could be closer to a fantastic team of doctors. Around 19 months ago Mark was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, brain cancer. Mark, Mandi and their girls fought this round of cancer as hard as they possible could . Due to the financial impact of cancer, burial and memorial cost, I am hopping as a community we can come together and help support Mark’s beautiful family, and make ends meet over the next weeks.

- Hello all. I’m sorry to tell you that Mark passed away yesterday morning. The girls and I, and Mark's sister and niece, were with him. He fought until the last breath, in true Mark fashion. And died on the Marine Corps birthday. He isn’t in pain anymore, we know he’s with Jesus which brings some peace. He is home. But we are here, and we are devastated. The path ahead is literally unimaginable. We know many of you loved Mark too. We are planning a service here in San Antonio within the next few weeks, and a service in Oregon probably during the summer. We’ll share details as we know. We would really welcome your prayers while we navigate this difficult chapter. Right now we’re remembering the goofy Mark who would do anything just to see his girls smile!
