He has gone through 5 treatments so far, with great news that tumors are shrinking. There is still such a long road ahead for him and our family. We want to beat this and give him the best outlook possible. He has stayed super positive through the process thus far, which is a huge part of the healing process. As most of you know, my dad loves the outdoors and loves to stay busy. So to say that he has stayed positive though the process is awesome. To all who have sent prayers and good thoughts, and who have helped financially, we cannot thank you enough. I want to reshape this and meet our originally goal of $5,000 to help further with expenses.

On January 21, 2019 my dad Mark was diagnosed with stage 4 Adenocarcinoma (lung cancer). Between his chemo and doctor appointments, this has put a financial burden on my parents, as my mom is the sole source of income in their household. After learning about the cancer, we decided to test their water for radon, as we heard that this is the 2nd leading causes for lung cancer. The results came back almost double the limit “allowed” in drinking water in Maine, as well as high radon levels in their air. We are hoping to raise money to help with medical costs, to get a system in place to treat their water for the radon, and to ease their everyday financial burden. This will be a huge relief to them, and I know they will be extremely grateful for each and every donation you can give.
