Mark Sockwell’s recovery from open heart surgery

Hey everyone, my name is Melissa Riddick and I am starting this Fundraiser on behalf of my hero and dad Mark Sockwell, who is currently in the hospital and scheduled to get major quadruple bypass open heart surgery. After having major chest pains and getting admitted to Kennestone hospital, we were shocked to find out that dad had several heart attacks and his heart was in bad shape. Not only did he have 5 blockages, he also had a mini stroke while in the hospital, as well as finding out he was diabetic. We were all terrified and so worried about what was to come. The recovery after surgery will be very painful and lengthy for dad. Dad and mom will be out of for work for several months. With both of them being out of commission for so long, I want to make sure they have no worries or concerns at all, during this unnerving and difficult season.
