This Fundraiser is for Mark Shirley, born and raised in Greene County who owns his own business Ole Time Smokehouse Food Trailer. If you have eaten at his food trailer you know how delicious the food is and how much pride and preparation goes into every day. Mark is normally in Snow Hill and Farmville areas during the week, and also does festivals and catering events on the weekends. On Tuesday, April 18, Mark was in Snow Hill starting to get ready for lunch service doing what he does routinely, a thousand times before, when the accident occurred. He was getting ready to open anticipating a great lunch with beautiful weather when Mark went to turn on the gas to cook and it exploded. Mark suffered severe burns and was flown to Chapel Hill Burn Center. He is doing as well as expected, but will be hospitalized for an unknown period of time. Any amount of donation will be greatly appreciated and will be used to pay medical expenses as well as daily life expenses as this is his only source of income.
