Mark Selemon, Husband, Father, I.A.T.S.E. Local 52 Greensman, Friend.
I was working for Mark on an incredibly challenging movie this winter when he began having some issues we thought were related to a hip replacement a few years ago.
While undergoing imagery for his hip, doctors discovered his liver and pancreas were riddled with innumerable tumors. These turned out to be malignant.
Within three and a half weeks my friend went from a creative, active, vibrant, loving man to recieving at home hospice care as his body gave in to the ravages of this despicable diease. March 12, 2020 Mark Selemon succumbed to his illness.
Mark and his wife Alyssa along with their children had spent many good years and good times on the East End on Long Island.
Montauk and Ditch Plains held a special place in his heart. Alyssa wishes to honor him with a memorial bench at Ditch Plains.
