Hi, my name is Robin Perkins. I am a long time friend of Mark Sanchez. I, along with Mark's good friend Scott and long time friend Wes are sad to share the news that Mark Sanchez passed away on the morning of July 18th, 2021.
Mark enjoyed a 30+ year career in theater and fashion. Mark's numerous and varied talents took him to many venues across the country. The following is a list of some of the places his career took him: Opera Pacific, Detroit Opera, Santa Fe Opera, LA Opera, Washington National Opera, Ringling Bros. Clown College, Chautauqua Opera and Seattle Opera. This list just scratches the surface of his career accomplishments. Mark had many talents and as the days pass, more and more friends are sharing their stories and memories of Mark. Most recently Mark worked as an educator at Cornish College for the Arts in Seattle.
Over the past few years Mark had many health struggles and his suffering is now over. Marks wishes were to be laid to rest with his Mother and Grandmother in Orange, California. Sadly, Mark spent the last 7+ months of his life in the hospital. Mark died destitute but rich in love from friends who cared about him.
We are raising funds for Mark's cremation and burial costs. We want to make sure Mark's life is celebrated by honoring his burial wishes.
Thank You,
Robin, Scott and Wes
