Mark "Rey" Reyes Brain AVM

I’m reaching out to you because we need your compassionate help. My boyfriend, Mark “Rey” Reyes is in ICU at Los Robles Medical Center. He has a condition called Brain AVM which created a blood clot the size of a tennis ball on his brain. His first surgery a couple months ago, while traumatizing, only resulted in 70% removal so he had to have a second surgery to remove the remainder. The surgeon was only able to remove 20% this time and Rey is not doing well at all, his left side is unable to move. He also now is battling pneumonia and has had to be placed in a medically induced coma. (While surrounded by Covid patients in the ICU)

It seems Rey’s fight has only truly just begun. We need to cover his medical bills and are hoping to be able to provide his parents the ability to fly to California and stay to be near Rey as he fights for his life. This will not be a short journey as PT itself will be an ongoing and grueling part of his necessary recovery.

If you are able to donate, we would be so grateful and if you are unable to help in that way, it’s ok. We just ask for your prayers in Gods name for Rey that he be healed and returned to his healthy state. Rey has so much to fight for with a darling new baby girl who needs her Daddy to be here.
