The Mark Rash Healing and Assistance Fund
Donation protected
Mark Rash has been a local hometown hero for the town of Hot Springs, AR for many, many years. He spent a great portion of his life selflessly giving and being of service to others in the form of working as a paramedic for Lifemobile and Lifenet for 30 years, being on the Cutter Morning Star School Board for 20 years, and being the best husband, dad, brother, son, and friend anyone could ask for. Those who know him love him because he is the best kind of man. He has saved countless lives and enriched and greatly impacted the lives of those who know him. Now is a time for us to take the opportunity to give back to a man that gave so much to all of us. In 2018, he was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) and has slowly lost his mobility, strength and abilities. Though the journey has been tough, his faith has never wavered and he has remained in high spirits as he fights for his life.
He is now on long-term disability and is currently using a power wheelchair to remain mobile in his home and the community. It has become increasingly necessary that we find a way to get him a handicap-accessible vehicle so that he can continue to navigate the community and stay in touch with his friends and family. If you wish, please consider helping us raise funds to make this happen ASAP. Denny Teeter of Teeter Motors in Malvern, AR is working with us to help us purchase a handicap-accessible van for my dad so that he can continue to be active and around those who love him. Any funds raised beyond the cost of the van will help provide for any medical care, home renovations to accommodate him, or personal items that dad may need as he continues to fight this horrible disease with an open mind and a loving spirit. Thank you all in advance, from the bottom of our hearts.
