Late Sunday night on May 2nd Justin got a call from Rachel that their house was on fire God! God was watching over our family and their neighbors because everyone got out safely and nobody was harmed. We are so so thankful to have Mark and Rachel still here with us today.

Fire is one of the most destructive forces in nature and unfortunately we are seeing that first hand. They were able to salvage a few precious things that cannot be replaced but the majority of their belongings will not recover. A dining table that Tyler made and a China cabinet and buffet that have been passed down through family are a couple of examples of items that hold precious meaning that will likely not be salvaged. Nothing can replace the sentimental value of these items.

I have first hand experience of the generosity of Mark and Rachel. Anytime we have ever needed anything but were not able to afford it they were right there to help. And I know that they have done the same for others. Now I am calling on friends and family to help them out in this desperate time of need. We are asking for prayers but they also need help in starting all over with nothing. We appreciate anything you can give!
