Just recently, we received the news that my brother-in-law,
Mark Durocher who we lovingly refer to as “Toe Doe” has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer stage 2. He is 59 years old. He
and my sister need our help in this extremely difficult time. It is not
in their character to ask for help so we are doing it for them.
Toe Doe is the most selfless man I know. He will drop everything to be there in a heartbeat to help you. With this news they are terrified. They have 3 girls and 3 grandchildren who idolize their father/grandfather and Toe Doe’s family means the world to him.
He is a very hard worker working 7 days a week to provide for his family. This illness has left him unable to make it through the day without the help of medication to ease the pain and with the added fatigue from the weight loss makes it impossible for him to work. He will be going through Chemo/Radiation for months and they have already exhausted their savings. We need his focus to be on healing. Although this is only the beginning, this has put a mental strain on this family so we decided to setup this GoFundMe account to help alleviate their concern. Your contribution will go towards his medical expenses and financial needs until they can get some help through Social Security.
His journey and story have an unknown destination right now, but he has been blessed with so many people who have come into his life and who deeply cares for him and for that we all are grateful but more than anything he needs your prayers.
