My father Mark 'Sime' Simon dropped his whole life in Richmond to come live and work in santa rosa when my sibling and I was forced out on the street. Hes been working security for longer than we've been alive and on August 18th after a night shift and a 3 mile walk home, he made a massive stroke and brain hemorrhage. Hes been diagnosed with a few life threatening conditions that he and his physician thought he had more time to work through. 

Hes still kicking though! Been in ICU for almost 3 days and looking forward to physical/speech therapy. He recognizes us and wants to come home. 2 ambulances and two nights in icu alone is THOUSANDS of bucks. His only support is us kids and we want there to be a home to come back to. 

If you can spare dollars for the inevitable Kaiser bill or our gas to see him in redwood city it would make a world of difference. Some of our blood relations in the bay cant afford to see him in the hospital either and we don't know if insurance will make a dent in therapy and medication cost.
