Mark Politte - Kidney Transplant
Donation protected
In February of 2014 Mark Politte was a star senior guard for LSU Shreveport. He started feeling tired and knew something was wrong. The news came quick, your kidneys are 90% failing and you need to start dialysis. No more basketball, school has to wait. Since then he has waited for a kidney, worked part time to make ends meet and help raise his daughter.
Great news came on 7/17/2018! They found a donor and will get a new kidney on 9/11/2018! Mark is a hard worker and not one to complain and friends and family have helped him all along. With the finish line approaching, Mark will need to be out of work for nearly a month.
I'm reaching out to my friends and contacts to ask you to join Mark's team and help raise enough money to help pay his medical expenses not covered by insurance and bills while he is out of work while he gets a new kidney.
