Mark Murphy & Louise Kirkwood House Fire Relief

Hi. I am Sally. Mark Edmond Murphy's youngest daughter. Around 2010 my dad and his partner LouAnne Kirkwood uprooted their lives in New Paltz, NY and bought Mark's uncle, worldly and otherworldly, revered jazz vocalist, Mark Howe Murphy's cabin in Shohola, PA. For this act of love Mark Howe was eligible and able to live out his days with comfort, care and dignity in The Actors Funds Home for esteemed members of the theater and music world.

On Wednesday for reasons still unknown that home burnt mostly to the ground. The universe kindly spared Lou's cat, Loretta.

My older sister Molly and I found out early Thursday morning and arrived early Friday morning. We haven't seen my dad yet but I realize it it important to get this fund for them rolling as I know there are many communities they are loved by that are eagerly prepared to support them in any way.
