On Monday September 28, 2020 Mark Mortimer and his family’s lives changed forever.
Mark was involved in a serious head on motor vehicle accident and has sustained extensive, life threatening injuries.
To give a small amount of perspective, Mark had to be cut out of the vehicle and airlifted to the John Hunter Hospital where he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit and placed in an induced coma.
Eight days after the accident Mark is still sedated.
With Mark being the main income earner of the home, added with the intensity of a newborn, as well as the uncertainty that Mark’s injuries present, we’d like to try and help ease the financial burden as much as possible.
The funds will assist Cindy and the family with things such as ongoing medical bills, potential childcare, general shopping items, clothing and other household bills while Mark is unable to work.
We hope and pray he makes a full recovery, as we all rely on the ICU Team to get him back to his beautiful wife and 4 children.
