Mark E. Smith "Moe" died Saturday, January 6th, 2024.

Mark loved his family, church, and the community. He worked with the young men in the community teaching them life. He took the children to church every morning during the week and fed them breakfast and then to the sanctuary to pray before they went to school. He taught them sports and how to workout. He loved worship at his church.

Mary Louise Bell is Moe's Mother. He has 3 siblings Sister - Michelle Hutchings; Brothers - Michael "Mickey" Smith, and Jacque Smith.

Moe was a great father with 3 children; Chanel, Joel "Doughboy," and Moniqua "MoeMoe" 4 grandchildren; Nahla, Nella, Brandon, and Donnica. He loved being a granddaddy.

Moe was diagnosed with bladder cancer in January 2023. He had surgery in August 2023 and his whole bladder was removed. He was diagnosed 100% cancer free in his follow up PET scan. In November, he was diagnosed with septic shock, and all his organs started shutting down and he never recovered. He was in the hospital weeks at a time.

We need help to pay for his funeral. Please you all know Moe, he loved life, he loved music, he loved you all. Please anything you can give will help.
