Mark & Michelle Davis Fund

My dear friend, Michelle, and her wonderful husband, Mark, are dealing with something that no couple married for less than 2 years could ever imagine having to go through. On December 5th Mark had brain surgery to remove a tumor and he was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, a very aggressive form of cancer. After having radiation and chemo and finishing treatment less than 2 weeks ago, he has become very sick. He was taken by ambulance last Saturday to the hospital and is being released tomorrow with hospice care.  His prognosis is days to weeks, with 2 months considered a miracle. Michelle hopes that they will celebrate 2 years of marriage on 3/14 with Mark comfortable and at peace.  

The reason for the gofundme is that Michelle has been off work for 4 months and has used all of her paid leave, as well as donated leave from her co-workers. Michelle's leave was up last Wed. and she worked 3 days last week and will be off again for the foreseeable future. Without a paycheck, they will need money to live on and also for Mark's end of life expenses, since there is no life insurance. Mark gets Social Security, which as we all know, is not enough to live on.
