First, I'd like to thank you for potentially contributing to this cause. My name is Rikki, Mark's little sister, and I created this go fund me campaign along with Mark's and my older brother, Danny aka Heavy D.
As many of you know, Mark tragically lost his life on Friday, May 14th. We are hoping to raise funds to assist with Mark's memorial service and final expenses.
If there are any funds left over after paying for the memorial, the plan is to put the remaining sum in a savings account for Mark's son, Mark Jr.
Mark was known as a skilled and intuitive musician among his many avid listeners. In addition to being a talented musician, Mark also had an affinity for poetry and art. He had a wonderful personality and could always put a smile on your face. He was a good person and terrific father. The list of Mark's personal accolades could go on and on. Mark Anthony Melancon Sr. may be gone but he will live on forever in the hearts of the people who loved him.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday May 30th at The Venue, located at 13475 hwy 431 St. Amant, LA 70774
