Mark McCool's Recovery Fund

Mark McCool is a dedicated father, husband, brother, son, uncle, and friend. While driving home from work on August 15, he was critically injured when another car pulled out in front of him causing an accident. Mark’s truck collided with the other car and rolled over with him and his two children inside. Thankfully the kids experienced only minor injury, however, Mark’s injuries were serious and he remains in the ICU. After the accident Mark was rushed to the hospital, where he survived an open heart surgery and repairs to his diaphragm, a collapsed lung, and broken ribs. Mark is lucky to be alive, and it’s nothing short of a miracle. Surrounded by family, the hard work of recovery has begun.

Mark owns and works a small family business with his wife Anna, and will be unable to work any time soon. No work means no income, and family bills and travel expenses are already piling up. Mark and Anna shouldn’t have to worry about finances at this scary time when all energy must be focused on healing.

To fill the immediate financial needs, Mark’s extended family is starting this GoFundMe account to directly benefit Mark and his family. All money raised will be used to pay travel expenses to and from the hospital (45 minutes each way), and bills to keep the family fed and housed.
