My cousin Mark McBride was killed in a hit and run accident this past March. The tragedy of losing such a wonderful individual so unjustly has been heartbreaking. Creating a yearly scholarship in his memory for a student at Wayland Union High School, where Mark and many of our family graduated, is a way to make sure Mark’s name is spoken and his memory is honored. It allows something good to be born from this nightmare. He can continue to be a source of goodness, generosity, and hope.

The funds raised will go directly to a graduating Wayland High School Senior Scholar Athlete who demonstrates excellence in academics, athletics, leadership, and character. By supporting this scholarship, you are helping a deserving student pursue their dreams while keeping Mark’s legacy alive.
