To all that knew Mark, you were instantly within his circle of friends from the moment he likely struck up a conversation with you - wherever it may have been – Walmart, work, Quiktrip, online HotWheel forums, TFD or through one of his many colorful Facebook posts underscoring his usual “Mauldinisms”. Fondly known as “Frog” and “Pepsi”, he served on the Tulsa Fire Department for nearly 30 years – a career that in which culminated into his position as captain where he could systemically impart his infinite wisdom unto unsuspecting rooks. Alas, all of that lively insight, or whatever story he was telling, was forever served up with his own brand of humor and a smile that always reached his eyes. Of course, he loved his own bunch of goofballs – his family - especially his kids and grandbabies, which he would proudly showcase for all to see and hear all about.

The sudden loss of Mark has been devastating, painful and inexplicably overwhelming for all close friends and family, a situation only to be compounded by the unfortunate circumstances surrounding his passing. His longtime home in Owasso, the one built with the help of so many friends, has been damaged extensively – with no home or life insurance to cover said damages. After much discussion, we, his family, have decided to reach out to all that knew Mark and ask for help - whatever it may be, no matter the amount – as an effort to return to some semblance of normalcy despite his absence from this world.

Always proud of his Choctaw heritage, one of the last things he posted about was that “the warrior spirit never dies”! So as many say, Mark may be gone, but he is most definitely not forgotten.
