Mark Lowery, known to many as "#50," was a proud member of the North Rowan High School Class of 1978. Throughout his years at North Rowan, Mark earned numerous accolades and honors in athletics, and his talent on the field led him to play college football at East Carolina University. Mark’s legacy is woven into the fabric of our school and community, and the ties that bind the NR Class of '78 remain strong to this day.

Mark’s impact reached far beyond his athletic achievements. He was a friend, a mentor, and a source of inspiration to classmates, teammates, and countless others in the North Rowan community. His dedication, kindness, and spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. Mark continued to support and uplift our school and community throughout his life, always embodying the values that make North Rowan special.
