Hello there and thank you for taking the time to look over this page. If you're looking over this then perhaps you're aware of the tragedy that has hit the Lehde family. If not, then I'll tell you to the best of my ability.
On August 13th evening, my father, Mark Lehde, suffered from a brain aneurysm on the left side of his cerebral lobe, causing severe pain and mental difficulty. He had to be driven to the ER at St. Peters Barnes Jewish Hospital and later taken to the ER of the Barnes Jewish Hospital of St. Louis. Thanks to the kind people at both St. Peters and St. Louis he was saved and is currently recovering, but I'm sad to say it looks like this will only be the first steps of a very long road. My family hopes he will return home sometime before this Thanksgiving, but unfortunately, we're aware of all the difficulties that still lay before him.
This fundraiser is meant to ask for any support for the Lehde family during this crisis, chiefly focusing on dealing with the rising medical bills that are coming with each day my father is in the ICU and later on when he goes to rehab. The family is doing its best to pay for all the necessary surgeries and physical therapy, but I'm sad to say this is only getting tougher with each passing week.
Please, we'll be thankful for any donations you may give. My father acted in many ways as the wise head of the Lehde family and a kind caregiver. Besides raising my sister and myself to be kind, hard-working people who help support our communities, my father was also my mother's primary caregiver. With every donation you give, you're helping my father recover and helping the Lehde family heal from this crisis.
Thank you.
