Mark Lancaster’s Funeral
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Renoa and I’m the daughter of Mark E. Lancaster II. My father was diagnosed with autoimmune disease called Addison’s a couple years ago. He periodically got pretty sick, but would typically bounce right back. This past weekend he had started feeling sick again, but unfortunately it had gotten the better of him and his heart had given out. He had passed on November 14th, 2023 in the very early morning. His passing was so sudden and unexpected. We’re still in shock. He was only 48.
Many people know Mark from his 20 years of serving in the United States Marine Corp. He dedicated his life to it and he was very proud of his accomplishments during his service. Like being deployed to many places overseas. He loved the impact he made and he more importantly loved helping people around him. He made friends everywhere he went and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.
With his passing, he is survived by his wife of 26 years, Satoko Lancaster. His son, Michael Lancaster, who is 19 and currently in school to be in the HVAC industry. And me, his daughter of 26, who just got married exactly a month before his passing.
With all the emotional pain and stress that death brings, it also unfortunately brings financial burden as well. I’m going to give him the best Marine Corp send off I can give him, cause I’m sure that’s exactly what he would have wanted. If anyone would like to contribute to it, it’d be greatly appreciated by me and his family.
His celebration of life will be held on Monday, the 27th at 12:00pm at Beaches Memorial Park and officiated by his father, Pastor Steve Rogers. The family will receive friends 11:00am-12:00pm at the funeral home, located 1500 Main St, Atlantic Beach FL, 32233. Interment will follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery at 2:30pm where military honors will be rendered. The arrangements are under the care of Ferreira Funeral services.
Thank you.
