Hello Everyone, this is Cheryl, Mark's daughter. I know many of you are wondering if and when there will be a service for my dad, Mark Kik. The answer is yes—of course we will be honoring him. I just received the death certificate yesterday (2/4/26) and can now move forward with choosing a venue and scheduling a date. Instead of a traditional funeral, we have decided to memorialize my dad with a celebration of life. As you all know, my dad was a die-hard baseball fan. To him, baseball was life! For this celebration, I want to fulfill his only two requests: “I just want you to serve hotdogs and play Take Me Out to the Ballgame.” With this in mind, I am planning something very special to bid farewell to my dad. To make this possible, I am raising funds to rent the San Jose Giants Municipal Baseball Stadium for a few hours so that family and friends can gather, share memories, and celebrate Mark’s life in a way that truly reflects who he was. Your support will help create a meaningful and memorable event, honoring my dad’s wishes and bringing together everyone who loved him.
