Mark Kashirsky and Family Support Fund

On 7/17/19 Mark "Kash" Kashirsky went into the hospital for back surgery.  On 7/19/19 while home with his wife, Jamie, he began to have complications.  He was rushed to the emergency room. He is currently in the ICU at St. Joseph Hospital in Joliet where he is intubated and fighting multiple infections. He has coded twice but still hasn't given up. His wife Jamie has taken leave from her job in order to be by his side. Due to her leave, she currently not recieving an income. Kash has been a member of the Riverdale Police Department for 11 years and is only financially covered for twelve weeks from the start date of his surgery. Mark Kashirsky is a loving father to his stepdaughter and son. He is a dedicated police officer who over the past five years spent countless hours working major crimes against persons sacrificing time with his family. As of this moment it is unknown how long he will be in his current condition and the length of his recovery time.
