Mark Kaiser Monthly Bills & Prosthetic Cost

Hi everyone. My name is Tiffany Harris. My uncle is Mark Kaiser, aka Uncle M & Marky!

Some may know his story. Some may not because he is a fighter and did function in pain for the majority of the last 4-5 years. The pain was due to nerve pain & damage in his lower right leg & foot. There have been many surgeries and emergency room visits over the past few years, most procedures only lasting about a year. This past Christmas, 2022, he went into emergency surgery. They said at this time if this procedure was not successful, it would be time to consider his right leg amputation. This is something Mark had been expecting at some point, but not so suddenly. A couple of weeks later, there were more emergency room visits. These visits forced Mark to make a very tough decision to amputate his leg. He consulted with his immediate family and decided this was the best decision for him. The whole family agreed. In January they did proceed with the above-knee amputation.

We all as a family want to share that he is doing PHENOMENAL with adjusting to his new way of life. He has been a rockstar in his recovery and rehab efforts. His positive outlook and close family & friends have been able to help him make it through what could have been a very tough time. However, this has also led to his inability to work for the remainder of the year. He is currently on disability for work and is already in the process of getting his new prosthetic leg fitted and made. He is very excited about this next phase and has even had a part in helping put together some of the mechanics of the leg. With that being said, he is also aware of the new financial implications of not being able to work full-time and the cost of these amazing new prosthetics. His new leg has a cost of around $70K. This is in addition to months of rehab costs.

With all of this being said, we want to reach out to help even further support him. As MANY know, he has ALWAYS been willing to give the shirt off his back to others. Always able & willing to help. We all love him so much. We want to now do the same for him. Any contribution to assist with monthly bills and the cost of his new prosthetic will be GREATLY appreciated. <3
