Help Mark Jackson & Family Cover Medical Expenses

My name is Jacob Riggs. I have created this Gofundme page for my best friend, Mark Jackson, with permission from his family. Mark was attacked last night in Bemidji by a man with a knife. Mark was stabbed in the head, the neck, his cheek, and his chest - causing him to have a collapsed lung. He was airlifted from Bemidji to Fargo, where he underwent successful emergency surgery and is currently admitted and recovering. Mark is the kindest, sweetest, funniest, and most loving person that I have ever met. Over the last 6-7 years that I have been fortunate enough to know Mark, I have seen him hold space for and positively impact people from every walk of life, including myself. Anyone who knows Mark knows what I am talking about.

Between being airlifted, life-saving interventions and surgery, treatments, admission, and after-care, Mark has been left with a growing medical debt that would set anyone back. His family has to drive to Fargo from Bemidji, a 3-hour drive each way. Then there is hotel rooms, food, etc. Mark is someone that always helps anyone who needs it any way that he can. He needs all of our help now. All funds raised will go directly to Mark and his family to help cover medical expenses.
