Mark J. Martin Funeral Expense Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Tom Cady. Steve Montgomery, David Marchione, John Ryan and I have created this fundraiser to help cover the costs of the funeral services of our life-long and great friend Mark J. Martin. As many of you know by now, Mark (or Marty as we liked to call him) lost his courageous battle against lung cancer on Wednesday, September 8th at the High Point Hospice House with his loving wife and faithful caretaker Mary Gayle by his side. Marty spent much of his life in Brighton but had lived humbly in Lowell in recent years. Marty was friend to many and loved by all. He faced numerous challenges in his life and battled through them all with incredible resolve and dignity. Marty was indeed one of Brighton’s best and will be dearly missed.

As I mentioned above, every dollar raised here will go toward the expenses associated with Marty’s wake, funeral and burial. Any excess funds will be donated in Marty’s name to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis.
