Mark is needing Full Time Care

Mark started showing signs of Dementia and was fired from RaceTrac in 2017. He was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2018.

As most of you know there is really no treatment for the disease. He has been prescribed medication which are covered by Medicare. He has been going to Memory Care (Adult Day Care) which is the same amount as his Social Security check ($1800.00)

His care is now beyond my skill level, so I have talk with the nursing home. The cost of this type of care is 2 times the cost of the Memory Care ($4000 to $4500).

The donation will help cover that additional cost for 6 months. The total cost of nursing home care is covered by Medicaid. After talking with his insurance, it does not look like we will qualify for Medicaid, I will keep trying.

Mark's only retirement is his house in Duncanville, due to a 3rd party we are having difficulty selling the house to cover Mark's nursery home expenses. We were hoping the sell of the house would cover 5 years of care. I am hoping in the next 6 months I can sell the house, as well as, find other avenues for funds.
