Hi, my name is Mark, and I help volunteer for an organisation that sends aid to Ukraine - called Help Ukraine BAMK UK. We are a small group that takes essential items across the Polish border and into Lviv of our own volition. Until now, I've only managed to help fundraise and volunteer at the unit where we receive everyone's kind donations.

Whilst this has been rewarding, I feel like I could do more.

In the last few weeks, our van drivers have delivered dozens of generators to our contacts in Lviv and Kiev, who moved them to the places they were most needed. Places that have regular electricity blackouts lasting hours at a time. Other items we often send to Lviv include winter clothing, medicine and even pet food. We never stop.

And so - for me to drive a van myself into Ukraine and on into Lviv, I need to raise enough money for fuel, insurance and the channel crossing. Each trip costs approximately £1000, and I will go as many times as this fundraiser will take me.

Please do what you can to help me get Aid to where it’s needed most.
