Bushfire Fund for Mark Hogan and Family

Donation protected
Our eldest brother, Mark Hogan and his family - his wife Mirren and two girls Katie (19) and Lara (17) have lost their treasured family home on acreage in Jeremadra as a result of the bush fires on the South Coast of NSW.

The fire decimated their home and all their possessions on New Years Eve.  They were evacuated from their home on the morning of New Years Eve and only had time to take a bag of clothes each.  They saved their beloved animals and are currently in the evacuation centre in the town of Moruya with their dog, cat and birds waiting until the roads clear and they can travel to a safer location.

It was Mark’s long held dream to have a home on acreage near the coast for his family and he is passionate about his animals.  He is 63 years old and a hard working tradesman who has worked his whole life to own his own home and provide for his family.  He was planning to retire in the next couple of years.  It will take a long time to rebuild their home and there are so many additional expenses involved.  They also need to find accomodation while rebuilding their home.

A lot of our friends and family have asked how they can help.  We decided setting up this gofundme page is the best way we can help Mark, Mirren, Katie and Lara get back on their feet after such a devastating event and loss of their family home and lifelong memories.
