Dear friends,

Islington Council have approved a memorial bench for Mark at the finish line of Highbury Fields Parkrun, so we are clubbing together to cover the cost. Any extra money raised will be paid to his daughter Chloe and put into her Junior ISA.

The inscription for the bench will be:

"In loving memory of Highbury Fields parkrunner and local legend Mark Guven (1973-2025)

Forever remembered by all who knew him, ran with him, and were lifted by his boundless enthusiasm"

Thank you everybody for helping to remember a dear friend, and truly inspirational character.
