Mark's friends were devastated to read Kallie's FaceBook post last Thursday morning, telling the world that Mark had died suddenly the night before -- Wednesday, May 9, 2018 .
"Words cannot express. My heart is broken. My husband Mark Guimond had a massive heart attack and passed away at 9pm last night. Please hold my family in your hearts."
Mark was a force to be reckoned with among his workplace colleagues -- from every sector imaginable -- and many of us have been wondering what we can personally do to somehow ease Kallie and the Guimond girls pain. (Mark wasn't really a flowers guy...)
As a tireless advocate, he might have appreciated donations to a worthy advocacy group, but to be honest, the cause he cared about most was that of his family.
With the sudden loss of Mark the father and Mark the husband, the Guimond family has also lost Mark the primary breadwinner . No one expects to lose someone so ALIVE, in the prime of their life and with so many working years ahead of them, but sadly this is exactly what happened to the Guimonds.
So, let's rally around the family to make sure the family has access to some much needed financial support during this very difficult time .
