Mark Godman's Hospitalization
Donation protected
Its a long story but here's the short version:
In March of this year I was laid off from my job and lost my insurance coverage. I applied for new coverage through the ACA and got a policy with a very high deductible and Out-of-Pocket limit. during this time I needed to be hospitalized for 5 days. I don't yet feel comfortable discussing why but I've discussed it with my family and a few very close friends. At some point I'll talk about it with anyone who wants to know.
I'm okay now and for the foreseeable future. However because of my high deductible, out-of-pocket limit and coming off of being unemployed for two and a half months I've depleted most of my savings. I'm excited that I've started a new job doing work that I enjoy.
I'd really like to say thank you to my friends and family whom I have talked to who have provided me with emotional support. I love you guys and can't express how grateful I am to have you.
I don't have much else to say right now. At some point I'll make a long winded Facebook post about what happened. In the meantime I'd like to get as much of my bills covered as I can. Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated. If you can't donate, that's fine. Words of encouragement will mean just as much if not more than any money you could give.
Thanks for your time
