Mark Watts was diagnosed 8/11/18 with Glioblastoma. He is 51 years young. This is a very aggressive form of brain cancer. He needs support in fighting this terrible disease. He underwent surgery and they successfully removed 95% of the 3x golf ball size tumor. This completely took the use of his left side. He was in the hospital for 2 months relearning how to walk. He then did the standard care of treatment. 30 rounds of radiation and 6 months of chemotherapy. He had several scans that showed no growth, until October 1, 2019. The tumor is back and growing aggressively again. He is now on the only other chemo for GBM. Radiation is not an option due to tumor location. Surgery is not an option. He is a father of 2 girls and a step father of 2. He was self employed with no insurance.
Struggling is an understatement. He struggles to walk. He struggles to get to a restroom. He struggles with daily reminders of his limitations. But worse of all he struggles with the thought of not being here to watch his family grow and live. Anything you can do to help is very appreciated!!!
Mark is so much more than a cancer patient. He is a father, son, big/little brother, uncle, cousin, husband, softball coach, football player, hunter, fisherman, Harley rider and was learning to be a pilot before this happened. He is the most generous person. His heart has touched everyone that has been blessed enough to know him. He was so full of life before this terrible disease. Please help him, he would never ask. Please be like Mark and never say no! Live life and to the fullest!
