Mark Gividen was diagnosed with pancreatic and liver cancers on July 26. Both cancers have progressed rapidly such that it was determined treatment is not an option. After numerous scans and three hospitalizations to manage pain and complication, he moved into hospice at the Monarch. His pain is now manageable, and they have made the decision to continue hospice care at their home starting Monday, August 28. We are hoping to help Elizabeth with some of the uncovered financial burdens of the last few weeks including hospice, ER visits and overnight stays at the hospital that were not covered by insurance.
