In Loving Memory of Mark Forward

Story

Mark Forward passed away far too soon on April 8, 2025, at the age of 52 after a courageous battle with cancer. He leaves behind his loving wife, Julie, their three daughters - Adelyn (9), Mykenna (16), and Jaelyn (26) - and his granddaughter, Dexxlyn (1). Mark was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who built his life around family, community, and doing right by others. He cherished time spent coaching his daughters’ teams, travelling and running with Julie, and being present for every moment that mattered. He lived each day with purpose and generosity, pouring everything he had into the people he loved and the community around him. He lived by the golden rule - treating others with kindness, respect, and empathy - and it showed in every part of his life. Mark was the kind of person who always put others before himself. Whether it was a friend in need, a colleague going through something, or a cause that mattered, Mark gave generously - of his time, his energy, and his heart. Professionally, Mark spent over 30 years in the security industry, eventually becoming a Vice President at Paladin Security. But it wasn’t titles or accomplishments that defined him - it was how he treated people. Mark had a remarkable ability to remember names, families, and stories. He didn’t just show up - he connected, listened, and made people feel seen. His impact stretched far beyond work, touching lives across the industry and the community. Mark’s passing has left an enormous hole in his family’s life, not only emotionally, but financially. As the family’s primary provider, he worked hard to give his daughters every opportunity, especially in the sports they love and excel in. This fund will help ensure they can continue pursuing those dreams, while also covering educational needs, medical expenses, and helping the family stay in the home where they’ve built so many cherished memories. If you knew Mark, you knew how much he gave—quietly, selflessly, and without fanfare. Now, we have a chance to give back in his name, to help carry forward the love, strength, and generosity he lived by every day.
