Mark Erwin’s cancer battle
Donation protected

As many of you know, Mark Erwin is battling stage 4 kidney and lung cancer and could really use our help. Any amount donated would be so greatly appreciated by his wife Mary Ann and their 4 children.
Mark’s story
Mark and Mary Ann’s world was turned completely upside down in January when they took Mark to a clinic thinking that he was developing bronchitis. While there, they performed an EKG which showed an abnormality. They immediately sent him to St. Joseph’s hospital where it was discovered that he has stage 4 metastatic kidney cancer that has spread to his lungs and surrounding lymph nodes. Mark has been battling this terrible disease for 4 months and has been in and out of MD Anderson numerous times with breathing issues due to fluid buildup in his lungs. The particular kind of cancer Mark has is very aggressive and is spreading rapidly in his lungs. His wife has missed several days of work to be with Mark so the financial burden is taking a toll on his family. With the uncertainty of Mark’s future and health Mary Ann shouldn’t have to worry and be burdened with finances as her plate is already full enough.
Anyone who knows Mark knows he is a God fearing Christian with a huge heart who adores his wife and their 4 children. He is also a very proud Aggie who served in the Texas A&M marching band and received his Masters Degree from A&M in 2015. I remember the first time my husband and I met Mark, his love for Texas A&M was very obvious. I can just see him giving his famous thumbs up and saying “Gig Em” with that infectious smile on his face.
Thank you very much for taking the time to read this. Your generosity would mean so much to Mark and his family as they continue this uphill battle against this ugly disease we call cancer.
“Whoever is kind to those in need, lends to the Lord and will reward them for what they have done.”
