Hi, my name is Christina Mahoney and I am one of Mark's daughters. My dad had an accident on 11/23/2021 causing him serious and severe injuries. He is currently in the ICU of a trauma center in Florida. As a result of his accident, dad has a broken nose, and more severely, he is currently paralyzed from the neck down. He is scheduled for surgery on Monday with the hopes this will allow him to regain some mobility. Dad cannot feed himself or even take a sip of water on his own. My mom has been spending every moment she has caring for dad.

 

We are preparing for a very long, and very costly, hospital stay. Post surgery, dad will need inpatient hospital care for at least 8-10 weeks, possibly longer. This means that he cannot work. He cannot provide for his family, the way he has for the last 39 years.

 

My mom Kim, all of my siblings, Nancy, Cheryl, Amanda & Mark, bonus daughter Dee and myself are asking for all of our friends and family to please pray for dad and the miracle he needs to be able to move again.
