Hi, my name is Sabrina Cervantez, I’m Mark Buel’s bonus daughter.

I met Mark officially when I was in the 8th grade. I remember where I was and the silly interactions. I remember waving bye to Mark and Mark waving bye to me that day.

Mark influenced my love for music. He had a Metallica black album and Marilyn Manson CD and I stole them! Mark brought Champ, his dog, to live with us, I remember the day Champ moved in. Champ fostered a huge love for dogs for my brother and I. Mark loved my mom unconditionally until the end. There are lots of bright spots in my life because of Mark.

On 11.5.23, my mom woke up and couldn’t wake Mark up. My brother and I rushed over and it seems Mark had stopped breathing and had passed in his sleep. The day before Mark had eaten peaches. He developed some shortness of breath and a tickle in his throat, he took a Benadryl at 930p and went to sleep around midnight. Mark had asthma and COPD. He also had lots of weird little allergies like bananas and goose feathers. He didn’t think it would be any different than any other time that something like this had happened to him.

Mark was only 57 years old. Unfortunately he did not make any plans to cover funeral cost. And has no funeral coverage. Mark was a genuine kind person and deserves the best. We want to provide a service equal to his importance in our lives. He treated us all so well and we want to give that back to him in this final show of love and support.
