On July 10th, our Dad suffered his third heart attack. Thankfully, he was able to receive the medical care he needed and had open heart surgery on July 12th, where he got a quadruple bypass. He remained in CICU until July 18th. He has been doing as the doctors tell him to do ever since, but his heart is still not beating properly. He landed back in the CICU on August 10th with a heart rate of 170 bpm. The doctors are now saying he will need a defibrillator, which is adding to their already mounting medical bills. Our Dad needs to be able to focus on getting well and getting the care he needs, but as anyone can understand right now, hefty medical expenses are causing a lot of stress and concern. We are hoping to mitigate that stress by asking for some help from the community.

Our Dad has always been a faithful, hard-working man willing to give you the shirt off of his back. He loves the Lord and is certainly in a season of putting that faith into action. If he could get out and work for the extra income needed to cover these expenses himself, he would, but right now he has to rely on help from family, his kind employers, and others so that he can get well and back to work and living the full life he was living before his heart attack and subsequent surgery.
