On the afternoon of January 9th, our dear friend and colleague Mark Cohea was involved in a terrible accident.  He was transported to the ICU at Mercy Hospital.  Initially, he was in a medically induced coma to allow his condition to improve.  Since then, he has had two surgeries. One to correct his broken wrist and another for reconstructive surgery.

After spending four weeks in the ICU, he was moved into a step down unit earlier this week.  He has been responding favorable to his treatment and we are encouraged by his progress.  

Mark has worked at McKelvey Homes for 27 years and has touched so many lives.  He is a wonderful person who is always there to help anyone in need.  Many people have asked how they can help support Mark and The Cohea Family during this most difficult time.  The funds that are raised will go towards any medical expenses incurred as well as any other expenses the family will need help with.
