Mark Clausen, Quadruple Heart Bypass Surgery

Hi, my name is Matt Clausen, a real estate broker in Hendersonville, Tennessee and I am fundraising for my older brother, Mark Clausen and his wife Elaine, as Mark will be having open heart surgery on March 7, 2024.

Mark is 68 years old, and is a Vietnam era US Navy veteran, as a helicopter crewman. He and Elaine have lived in Gallatin, Tennessee since moving here from the San Francisco Bay area 16 years ago. Mark has continued to work into retirement age as a traffic control and security guard for an armed guard company in Nashville. But, he hasn't been able to work since early January. And, their bills are already starting to back up.

Mark's a great guy and a great brother. Ironically, I've seen him through the years continue to donate his own time and money to worthy causes (VFW, Wounded Warriors, Saint Judes, Behind The Badge, and others), and he now finds his family in need of the same kind of help.

Mark will need 3 or 4 months to recover from his heart surgery. And then, he will need a hernia operation and that recovery period before being able to return to his job. So, we are looking at about 6 months with no income for Mark and Elaine. Plus, they are looking at a wave of incoming medical bills.

Any help you can provide will be used wisely and conservatively to support this family through this rough patch.
