On June 8th, 2025, Mark suffered a Hemorrhagic Stroke while enjoying a fishing charter in OBX. He was rushed to Norfolk, VA via the Coast Guard and given quick medical attention that saved his life. After 19 days at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, he was moved to Kenmore Mercy Hospital (Buffalo, NY) via a medical transport on June 27th. Mark is currently in the medical rehabilitation unit, working hard daily to improve. The process will be long, but daily he is improving! Daily therapy is helping with speech, movement, and memory. Proceeds from GoFundMe will go towards uninsured medical expenses.
