Peace & Recovery... Mark & Matt Cantu

Tragically this past Monday July 5, 2021 Mark and his brother Matt were in a serious car accident, just blocks from home, after celebrating the 4th of July with family. Mark was killed instantly and Matt remains in ICU fighting to recover from multiple injuries.

Our family has suffered the tremendous loss of our son, brother, father, and greatest love, Mark Cantu. He was a father to 3 handsome sons; Mark Joe (11), Rouvario (2), Manolo (6 mth), and a loving partner to Rebecca Jackson, of 11 years. At the young age of 29, Mark, was known for his salt & pepper hair and carefree love of life. He was the strong silent type but would blossom into the most wise and charismatic person anyone has ever met.

Matt is a devoted son, brother, father and friend who is currently recovering at Sparrow Hospital. A true North-sider through and through who wouldn't hesitate to come running for those in need. Devastated by the news of loosing his baby brother, we know he has the strength to overcome this obstacle. Though he has our love and strength behind him, this challenge comes with many medical bills and the need of long term support.

This unforeseen tragedy is not one that our family was prepared for. The high cost of a funeral service for Mark, as well as, the onset of medical bills expected for Matt, is a lot for our family to handle alone. We humbly ask for donations from friends and family to assist us in our greatest time of need.

All donations will be used for funeral and medical expenses only.
