On behalf of Mark and his family I have been asked to share some news from our YES Man…

On Friday the 19th December 2025, Mark was unfortunately diagnosed with a brain tumor. As shocking this may come to some of our members he has been positive and optimistic.

So we’re rallying around our mate Mark Brown as he has undergone neurosurgery on Tuesday 3rd February 2026.

Fighting this has come with the added burden of an $8,000 medical bill, and we’re hoping to ease that burden by coming together as a community.

Mark isn’t just a mate — he’s been a leader and driving force behind the YES AFL TEAM / YES STADIUM group, and over the past three years he has poured his heart, time, and energy into supporting the movement and the people of Tasmania.

His passion, commitment, and tireless work have meant so much to so many.

Now it’s our turn to show up for him

Any contribution, big or small, will help take pressure off Mark and his family so he can focus on what matters most — his recovery.
