Mark Bright was one of our community's founding originals. For more than nine years, Mark faithfully staffed our front desk for the evening shift, and helped out whenever/wherever needed.
Sadly and unexpectedly, Mark passed away in his sleep at the age of 53.
This fund is dedicated to raising money to assist his family with his funeral and other expenses. All donations will go directly to the Bright family.
Whether he was shoveling snow to keep our passages safe, holding umbrellas and escorting residents to cars waiting outside, or helping residents with any of our needs and requests; Mark could be counted on to not only be there, but to be there with a smile.
After nearly a decade of holiday parties, friendly interactions, amazing service and overt acts of kindness, Mark was a part of the fabric of our community and a member of our family.
A valued and important part of our lives, Mark blessed the Velocity community with his kindness and smile. We are grateful for the time we shared with him and will miss him terribly.
Thank you so much for your support.
Updated Note - At the request of Mark's mother, Dorothy Bright, Mark's brother, Theodore Harris, will be the custodian of funds on behalf of the family.
