Hi, my name is Mark. Recently I went to the Doctor because I was experiencing lip numbness and was shocked to find out I had cancer, Burkitt Lymphoma specifically. Since the diagnosis I have not been able to work due to treatment leaving me both immunocompromised and physically weakened. I have been in treatment for 3 months so far, and as I was the main source of income for my household, bills have begun to pile up, also since my treatment will continue for at least 4 more months, not only will our expenses continue to pile, but we have had to postpone our wedding from July until who knows when. My family and I have remained positive and determined in the face of this diagnosis, but I have a long road ahead of me, physically, mentally, and financially.
