Remembering Mark Bradley

On Friday 8th September 2023, my Dad was was sadly taken from us after a tough battle with bowel cancer at just 48 years old.

Our Dad left behind a loving family with an unbreakable bond. He was a loving Daddy to two daughters, aged 15 & 25, devoted husband, wonderful grandfather, best friend to two brothers and an unforgettable friend.

Our Dad was the head of our family, he worked almost everyday up until his last even when battling terminal cancer to provide for his family. He showed everyone that even when times are tough life is too precious to give up and he survived for almost one year after his oncologist told him he would pass. That was solely down to him, his determination not to give in and fight for life.

The hole he has left behind in our hearts is too big to imagine, but his strength gives us hope and a reason to fight for our life together as a family.

Unfortunately as my dad was taken from us so young and his terminal diagnosis was so unexpected, he never made any funeral arrangements.

So that being said,

We are raising funds to help cover some of the funeral costs and a memorial plaque so that my dad can have the send off he deserves and so that people have a place to visit him when they feel they need to.

We are also hoping to raise funds for a break away for my younger sister to enjoy as part of my dads last wish to us, as he didn’t get to do it himself. You can imagine the loss for a 15 year old is very hard to comprehend, especially at such a difficult age already.

We would be forever grateful for any amount, no matter how big or small. Everything helps, even just a share.
