Last year our family friends the Klintberg's (Justin and Gina) were significantly impacted when one of their teenage daughters suffered a stroke.
She has been treated at the neurological department of the Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne. Justin (who I frequently ride with) has helped establish a 422km charity bike ride over 4 days (14-18 March) from Noosa to Byron Bay to help raise money via the Live Life Foundation to assist the RCH with its ongoing state-of-the-art programs for children with neurological issues and stroke programs.
Stuart O'Grady (TDF yellow jersey, stage winner, Paris Roubaix winner and Olympic gold medalist), Matt White (team director Team Jayco) and Matt Goss (winner of Milan San Remo) are also joining this ride to help raise this necessary funding so please donate to help me reach my goal of $8,000.
Any support would be greatly appreciated. Donations in Australia are typically 100% tax deductible as Live Life Foundation is a registered charity.
If you would like to learn more about the ride or register to participate I have attached a link.
